Virtus.pro has just unveiled its new women’s team on CS:GO, named VP.Angels.
After the announcement of EXCEL’s female roster on VALORANT, another structure seems to have been impressed by G2 Gozen’s journey and the enthusiasm around female teams on the esports scene, it’s Virtus.pro. The Russian organization, whose team CS won Rio’s IEM Major 2022 under the Outsiders label following the banning of Russian clubs from the competitionhas just unveiled the creation of VP.Angels.
Absent from the official competition since February and its elimination at the IEM in Katowice, Virtus.pro could therefore land in a new championship via its female roster composed of meo, Katherine, ayaja, uulis and Margo, a small part of the grinders roster. In which division and under which flag for the Impact League? We should know more soon, in the meantime the club commented:
Once again there is a female roster at Virtus.pro! The girls we signed have never played in a professional team before, but they have worked very hard in mixes and leagues on FACEIT to prove their worth. And at VP.Angels they will have such an opportunity. They are ready to compete at the highest level, and we have many cooperation projects between Virtus.pro, VP.Prodigy and VP.Angels. Our CS:GO branch is growing stronger, and so is your support.
By the way Virtus.pro communicates again with its name and thus marks a real difference with the “dissident” team Outsiders. The team will be coached by Yerkebulan “sunlight” Jadigerov.
