(CercleFinance.com) – Visa announced on Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Currencycloud, a platform that allows banks and fintechs to offer currency solutions for cross-border payments.
Currencycloud – a fully cloud-based service – already has over 500 banks and tech companies among its customers with a presence that spans over 180 countries.
According to Visa, the company will continue to provide its services and support its customers and partners in this line of business.
The American credit card issuer specifies that the acquisition of Currencycloud was based on the strategic partnership that already existed with the company.
