Visa: Jefferies sets price target at $250

(CercleFinance.com) – Jefferies confirms its buy advice on the stock with a target of $250 after the announcement of quarterly earnings.

Visa published adjusted net income on Tuesday evening up 29% to $4.2 billion for its third quarter 2021-22, or $1.98 per share (+33%), for revenue up 19% at 7.3 billion.

“Cross-border business saw revenue growth of more than 50% thanks to the resumption of travel and currency volatility,” Jefferies said.

‘ Management insisted that spending showed no signs of slowing down, with domestic volumes remaining stable through July, travel continuing to improve (albeit at a moderate pace), and bookings indicating that post-summer demand remains solid’ adds the analysis office.
