(Boursier.com) — Visiomed Group announces the appointment of Clément Pacaud (34 years old) as Managing Director of the Group.
Clément Pacaud has more than 12 years of experience, including 10 spent in the Gulf countries, in business management, the conduct of financial and operational strategies, the management of acquisitions, the structuring of complex international joint ventures and even the support of technological startups and fast-growing industrial companies. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of Lahab, an EDGE Group company (an Emirati industrial conglomerate specializing in defence, aerospace and new technologies), where he led the restructuring of this strategic asset in Abu Dhabi. Since 2022, he has been Chief Financial Officer of the private equity firm Perpetua Investment Group, based in Dubai.
The appointment of Clément Pacaud reflects the Group’s desire to make the Middle East the central hub of its commercial and strategic operations. The year 2023 was marked by strong growth in Smart Salem’s activity with +41% of medical tests carried out compared to 2022, the opening of a 3rd medical analysis center in March, the launch of a new offer of personalized health checks and the creation of Smart Health in Saudi Arabia.
Thomas Picquette will remain alongside Clément Pacaud, as General Secretary, with the mission of supporting the development of the Group, optimizing the Group’s investment capacity and managing consolidation and reporting matters. The Board of Directors is now composed of Guillaume Bremond (President), Clément Pacaud (General Director)1, Anne Gaignard and Paul Amsellem.
This new geographic structure demonstrates management’s ambition to develop the Group’s full potential by relying on its technological subsidiaries to become a key player in prevention and precision medicine in the Middle East..
