In the midst of the Ukraine war, Wladimir Klitschko is celebrating his 46th birthday. Brother Vitali congratulates with an emotional message.
The Klitschko brothers have been defending the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv for weeks and are trying to give their compatriots strength. In the midst of Russia’s war of aggression, Vladimir celebrates his 46th birthday on March 25. Brother Vitali (50) congratulates him with emotional words on Instagram. “Today someone very close to me is celebrating his birthday,” writes the mayor of Kyiv for a joint video the brothers. He also shared several photos showing Vladimir in the middle of the war zone.
Emotional words to brother Vladimir
“We share a strong connection, even though we are apart. At this important time for Ukraine, we are together in Kyiv,” the 50-year-old continues. “We stand shoulder to shoulder. I feel my brother’s support every day and every second.” The former world boxing champion recently said to him: “This is the toughest fight of our lives – the fight for our city and our country.” He has “no doubt that we will win,” he explains. “Because good always conquers evil.”
He thanks “luck and our parents” for his “beloved brother”. In the video, the two brothers stand side by side, dressed in traditional Ukrainian shirts. “Happy birthday, brother,” continues Vitali. “Mom, thanks for the best present ever!”
