Monday, December 27, 2021, Le Parisien announced that the Vitamin C program co-hosted by Michel Cymes and Bérénice Bourgueil will be deprogrammed by France 2 from January 9, 2022.
After only four months on the air, the program Vitamin C broadcast on Sundays will be deprogrammed by France 2. Co-hosted by Michel Cymes and Bérénice Bourgueil, he made two teams compete with questions around scientific questions. Unfortunately, it failed to convince the 800,000 viewers who represented only 6.2% audience share on average.
The news was unveiled by The Parisian Monday, December 27, 2021. According to the newspaper, the program broadcast on Sundays at 5:50 p.m. on France 2 will be replaced by a second number ofDeal concluded, as on weekdays. A France Television executive would have confided in the cancellation of Vitamin C. He would have explained: “It was as much a problem of audience as of content“.

Michel Cymes who fell to the 20th place of the favorite animators of the French according to TV Magazine had already mentioned the results of Vitamin C. On November 14, he confided his dissatisfaction to Parisian regarding broadcast time of the health program: “Sunday at 5.40 p.m.? It’s the worst box on TV. We knew it. It is not a gift. We are very dependent on the weather. It’s the first time that I wish for rain“.
The 64-year-old French doctor will have lived a complicated 2021 on television. Before Vitamin C, this is the program Antidote which he had presented from February to last June which had been canceled. Michel Cymes can however make up for it with the series The Doc and the Vet who had been a real success and whose season 2 will be released soon.
