What if the “U1st Vision” was the long-awaited French response to medical deserts? This week at VivaTech, Software République, an entity which brings together the French giants Thales, Dassault Systèmes, Eviden (cyber branch of Atos), Orange Business, STMicroelectronics, JCDecaux and Renault, presented an autonomous van rightly bearing the diamond brand, which aims to build the medicine of the future, as close as possible to the French. Withings, privileged partner of the concept, explains to us what is hidden behind U1st Vision.
The clever principle of the U1st Vision medical van
The idea of Software République? Offer a van that has different connected objects inside and turns out to offer multiple services: from bicycle repair to civic self-service, including recycling services for electrical products and others. But the demonstrator module that caught our attention the most is that which consists of making the vehicle a real health service, with Withings as the main player.
The so-called “Health Pop-Up” use case is interesting. Here, the idea is to make the van a vehicle that can help fight against medical deserts, by coming as close as possible to patients, and thus offer them a quality of care that they may have lost in recent years and decades.

In the U1st Vision, Withings has embedded several of its connected health objects. For example, we find the BPM Connect blood pressure monitor, or the Body Scan, the connected station which allows you to take different measurements, thanks to its 6-lead electrocardiogram, your body composition by segmentation and various information on your nervous health, among other information .
Inside the vehicle, Withings promises to integrate its award-winning innovation at the last CES in Las Vegas, BeamO, which will soon arrive on the market, with four integrated sensors: thermometer, electrocardiogram with lead, stethoscope and pulse oximeter. The patient will be able to come alone in this van, where artificial intelligence and health staff will welcome them to help them take measurements, and leave with their full health check-up.
