VivaTech: what unusual innovations await the general public?

On the occasion of the Viva Tech show, the organizers promise entertainment for young and old. Alongside the big names (Google, Meta, Orange, etc.), many innovations await the general public.

Visitors will be able to discover the new flying machine of Franky Zapata, the inventor of the Flyboard. They will also approach a prototype of a hydrogen-powered plane that aims for hypersonic speed, that is to say beyond Mach 5 (more than 6000 km/h). Those who have their heads in the stars will be able to dream in front of the model of Ariane 6, the latest European launcher. More down to earth, motorsport fans will be delighted to approach DS’ Formula E single-seater.

Athletes will be amazed to discover that it is possible to pedal on water thanks to the Manta5 Hydrofoiler which pushes the limits of physics. Those who prefer to hit the slopes can always ski quietly installed in their living room thanks to the Sirius augmented reality headset from Ostloong.

AI in the spotlight

In a different register, the most curious will be able to converse with Vincent Van Gogh, who comes back to life in 3D thanks to artificial intelligence. Finally, young and old will be delighted to discover Miroka, an AI-powered robot, capable of interacting with the public, responding to specific requests while moving with great agility.

These are just a few examples of the thousands of innovations presented at Viva Technology, which since its launch in 2016 has established itself as the largest European event dedicated to innovation and start-ups. During its last edition in 2022, it welcomed more than 91,000 visitors.
