A new model strengthens Vivo’s Y range: the Y76 5G. This smartphone which does not lack arguments, in particular thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip and 44 W FlashCharge technology, will be available from April.
Vivo continues its momentum: to offer smartphones placed on the mid-range at an attractive price. The Y76 5G model joins the brand’s other smartphones in Europe, which was released in Asia at the end of 2021. The strengths of this device, given its price category, are undoubtedly its finesse, its camera and its fast charging.

Thus, the Y76 sports a sober aesthetic, at least in its gray color. Vivo has made an effort on the thinness of the device, which is 7.79 mm thick. The screen is a 6.58 inch in Full HD +, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
On the photo side, a particular effort has been made on the main wide-angle sensor, which benefits from 50 MP. It is accompanied by two other sensors of 2 MP each. The selfie camera benefits from a classic 16 MP. Vivo has apparently worked a lot on software processing and AI of the photo to offer effective results. An “Extreme Night Vision 2.0” mode is also integrated, as well as many functions for portraits.

Recharging the 4100 mAh battery is a priori particularly fast (70% in 32 minutes) thanks to the 44W FlashCharge technology.
Like the Vivo Y72, the Y76 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chip. It is 8 GB of RAM which supports it. Vivo has also implemented a very useful technology: Extended RAM 2.0, which allows the device to benefit from an additional 4 GB if necessary. Let’s add that the Y72 is still on the shelves, the Y76 not so much replacing it as offering an upgrade.
In addition, like all Y series smartphones, the Y76 has a dual-SIM slot, 5G connectivity and a side fingerprint reader. The device comes natively with Funtouch OS 12, which is based on the latest version of Google’s OS. There will be two years of major update and three years of security update.
The vivo Y76 5G will be available in France from mid-April, in two colors (“Bleu Aurore” and “Gris Minuit”), at 349 € for the 128 GB version.
