At the weekend, media such as the Italian newspaper “Leggo” reported that the “Babylon Berlin” star was missing after a hike in the Italian Alps. Now the 42-year-old explained in an Instagram story: “Just a quick look at the headlines. I was and am doing wonderfully. I just went on a hike with an overnight stay in a hut.” It goes on to say: “Today I wasn’t available until noon due to a lack of network, which then caused a rat’s tail of panic.”

With one of his hikes, Bruch had triggered a mountain rescue operation in Piedmont last Saturday after he had hiked alone northwest of Lake Maggiore and had not returned, according to the “Tagesspiegel” the authorities confirmed the following day to the German Press Agency. His “2 Win” colleagues called the police after the actor was not in his hotel room before leaving.
