(CercleFinance.com) – Volkswagen has unveiled the world premiere of the new Golf R and SW R offering ‘optimized driving performance and exclusive equipment’, according to the manufacturer.
The new models are based on the eighth generation of the Golf, which received a major update this year.
These vehicles produce 245 kW (333 hp), an increase of 10 kW (13 hp) over their predecessors, with a standard top speed of 250 km/h (and 270 km/h with the R-Performance package).
Orders will begin on July 3 in Germany.
In France, only the Golf R will be available for order in July.
