(CercleFinance.com) – The Volkswagen brand announces that in France, its market share increased by 0.4 points in 2023 to reach 6.8%, the best result for the brand in 7 years, corresponding to 120,225 registrations in 2023.
Growth is notably supported by the performance of the Polo models, the brand’s best-selling model in France with 26,118 units, T-Roc (21,364 units), Tiguan (16,600 units), Golf (15,111 units) and T-Cross (10,763 units).
For their part, the electric models ID.3 and ID.4 show an increase in volume of 13% and 42% respectively.
The brand says it is ‘relatively confident for 2024’, notably with the overhaul of the ID range. and the significant drop in its prices.
