This is very good news for those who plan to afford a Volkswagen ID.4
.

Indeed, the 2022 version of Volkswagen’s 100% electric SUV thus gains 30 kilometers of autonomy.

The four finishes of the ID.4 gain in autonomy

It’s always good to take ! Volkswagen has just unveiled the figures for the 2022 version of its ID.4 electric SUV, and the main news is that these vehicles gain 30 kilometers of autonomy compared to the 2021 version. In addition, these are the four finishes of the ID.4 who benefit from it.

Thus, the Pro S model increases to 395 km of autonomy, the AWD Pro to 404 km, the RWD Pro S to 431 km, and finally, the RWD Pro culminates in 450 km of autonomy between two recharges. This data is obtained in the EPA test developed by the Environment Protection Agency (USA). Also, they could therefore be different in the context of a WLTP test, although the EPA test is renowned for its reliability.

While the 82 kWh battery remains similar to that fitted to the 2021 version, the 2022 version of the ID.4 is more economical in terms of consumption. The savings are not on the budget side, however, at least in North America, where the price of each of the finishes increases by 765 dollars, according to Electrek.
