KIEV, Feb 13 (Reuters) – Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky on Sunday invited his US counterpart Joe Biden during a telephone interview to visit Kiev to help de-escalate with Russia, the Ukrainian presidency reported.
“I am convinced that your arrival in Kiev in the coming days, which are crucial for stabilizing the situation, would be a powerful signal and would contribute to the de-escalation”, indicated Volodimir Zelensky’s services in a press release. (Report by Pavel Polityuk, French version Tangi Salan)
