(CercleFinance.com) – Helexia, a subsidiary of Voltalia, announces that its first Brazilian distributed generation solar assets have started supplying Vivo, a Telefonica brand, with electricity.
As a reminder, a contract for the supply of 87 megawatts of solar energy to Vivo was announced in December 2021.
Helexia thus successfully finalized a first tranche of 4.9 megawatts in the municipality of Paranaíba (state of Mato Grosso do Sul).
An additional tranche of 20 megawatts, located in the states of Rondônia and Paraná, should be connected in April.
The remaining 62 megawatts, located in the states of Sao Paulo, Ceara, Rio Grande do Sul, Tocantins and Amazonas, should be connected by the end of the year, announces Voltalia.
