(CercleFinance.com) – Voltalia announces that its SSM3-6 solar power plant, located in Brazil, is producing at full power, including the last tranche of 133 megawatts whose entry into operation has been slowed down due to the consequences of the network blackout last August 15.
Construction of SSM3-6 was launched in March 2022. The plant began producing in July 2023 with an initial tranche of 17 megawatts, to which an additional 243 megawatts were gradually added.
‘At the same time, our teams are fully mobilized to put another of our new power plants into production: the Canudos wind farm, also ready to inject into the network,’ declares Sébastien Clerc, general manager of Voltalia.
