Voluminous half-open hair? That’s how it’s done!
All you need for the half-up hairstyle is a hairbrush and a thin hair tie. In the beginning, it helps to comb the hair well and untangle tangles. Two thick strands are then separated, combed back and fastened with a hair tie.
Now the braid is divided with the fingers. Then the end of the pig tail is fished through the strands from below and pulled out again at the top. Finally, the ponytail is tightened again and the hair is fixed with a little hairspray if necessary. Instead of hanging flat down, the hair now falls out of the braid in a fountain-like manner.
Variant 2: Two braids
Very similar but still different, you can easily change this volume hack. Instead of making just one braid, we knot two in this variant. It is important that you tie the second braid over the first so that the two hair ties are on top of each other. Then you pull the bottom one through the loop of the top one. But that’s not all. With the braid that is now on top, you form an opening through which you push the lower one and tighten it. Voila!
