Vortex International appoints Sylvain Dugas as Chief Operating Officer


MONTREAL, Jan. 04, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Vortex Structures Aquatiques International (www.vortex-intl.com), manufacturer and world leader in the field of aquatic games, has appointed Sylvain Dugas as Chief Operating Officer .

In this newly created role, Mr. Dugas will be responsible for the business of the company with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency and organizational capacity as Vortex continues to grow. He will report to Stephen Hamelin, President and CEO of the company.

Mr. Dugas brings more than two decades of operational experience, including in the areas of supply chain, production, planning, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, quality, manufacturing, maintenance and logistics services. He was previously Vice President of Operations in Canada for dormakaba and Vice President of Operational Excellence at Pharmascience, Canada’s largest pharmaceutical company.
