On Digital, we evaluate and compare the products on purely objective criteria established in the lab. Well aware that the recipe catalog is an integral part of multifunction food processors, we organized a culinary match between the two star food processors on the market. On the one hand, the Thermomix TM6 by Vorwerk, pioneer and leader in the sector; on the other, the audacious and valiant Monsieur Cuisine Smart from Silvercrest, a Lidl brand, sold three times cheaper. These two appliances are presented as benchmarks in their segment: the Thermomix TM6, sold at €1359, is the Rolls-Royce of food processors, while Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine Smart offers unbeatable value for money since it is sold at €399.
So, what results can we have on the plate? What are the observable differences in recipes prepared with the two behemoths in the sector? To answer these questions, we evaluated them with common recipes. On the menu, therefore: vegetable soup as a starter, steamed fish and mashed potatoes as a main course, then floating islands for dessert. Who will be the winner of this culinary duel?
