Wacken 2022 is slowly approaching. Now more acts have been confirmed for the music festival – including Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann.

The line-up for Wacken Open Air 2022 is growing. The organizers have now announced Rammstein singer Till Lindemann (58) along with 13 other new acts for the coming year. The music spectacle will rise in summer 2022.

Originally a performance by the singer was planned for “Wacken Wednesday 2021”. In 2022, Lindemann will make his Wacken debut on one of the festival days from August 4th to 6th.

13 more bands announced for Wacken

“As always, our booking team did a great job and was able to sign many top-class and promising young bands. What I personally like about today’s wave of bands is the variety in terms of musical styles and countries of origin,” said festival co-founder Thomas Jensen. In addition to Lindemann, there are among others: Grave Digger, Danko Jones, Orden Ogan and Cirith Ungol.

Previously planned shows of numerous other bands had been confirmed. For example, Judas Priest, In Extremo, Limp Bizkit, Rose Tattoo, Lacuna Coil, Gwar and As I Lay Dying will also perform at Wacken Open Air in summer 2022.
