After a big 1.74 update bringing the Shukrute, the game is buzzing with excitement as eyes are already on future updates, as well as the 10 year celebration. Better still, following a recent survey, a single-account server will make its debut one day!
Wakfu: Upcoming single-account servers
During a survey in December 2012, the Wakfu team asked players about the possible arrival of single-account servers. This mode would propose a prohibition of the hero system as well as a limitation to one connection per character at the same time. Already experimented on Dofus and Dofus Retro, it had met with some success so that the other regions of the Krosmoz have heard of it.
According to the results, “it is clear” that the community wants such a server. However, Ankama announces at the same time that the development of these servers is not on the schedule, at least for 2022. It would also be necessary to rework certain basic functionalities of Wakfu. This concerns in particular the dungeon system which will see a 2.0 version this year.
The development of this site in our schedule has still not been fixed and, in the event that we start it, we would need time to prepare a certain number of mechanics beforehand.
