(CercleFinance.com) – Walgreens Boots Alliance announced Tuesday evening the appointment of Tim Wentworth as CEO, effective October 23. He will also join the drugstore chain’s board of directors upon taking office.
Most recently, Tim Wentworth was founder and CEO of Evernorth, Cigna’s healthcare services organization that partners with health plans, employers and government organizations.
Prior to joining Cigna, he served as CEO of Express Scripts, the largest pharmacy benefit manager in the United States, following the company’s merger with Medco Health Solutions in April 2012.
