Guest #1: Mila Kunis

Students in difficulty must go to summer camp. During the trip, one of them steals a briefcase full of dollars belonging to drug traffickers, who then set out to find them. Walker and Alex escort the children and will have to defend them. Mila Kunis, 14 when the episode (S05E15) aired, is one of the students in the group.

Anecdote: The episode is co-written by Paul Haggis, who is also a director. During Walker’s time, he had already made a feature film called Red Hot (1993). Chance or coincidence: Haggis will turn Mila Kunis in Puzzle with Liam Neeson, Adrien Brody and Olivia Wilde.

Guest #2: Bryan Cranston

Bryan Cranston shot a lot of series before becoming one of the stars of Malcolm and then of Breaking Bad. He notably had a (somewhat) recurring role in Seinfeld, and participated in an episode of Walker Texas Ranger. We can see him in S02E18, in the role of Hank Meese, the manager of a certain Meredith, a medium helping to find a missing child.

He ends badly, since he is found murdered by Trivette and Meredith.

Anecdote: Dean Norris, who plays Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, also appeared in the series, S07E04, in which he plays a security chief at a Cherokee factory suspected of dumping toxic products in the waters of the Indian reservation.

Guest #3: Jeffrey Dean Morgan

In 2000, 16 years before his first appearance on The Walking Dead, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan appeared in episode S09E09 of Walker. He plays the leader of a band of crooks who commits a burglary that goes wrong. Witness to the event, a young father who stood guard for the thieves fled. He is killed, but his wife and baby, aware of the whole affair, find refuge with the rangers. But from then on, their life is threatened.

Of course, the outlaws end very badly, and Dean Morgan’s character gets shoveled by Alex, then shot by Walker after he jumps out the window!

The actor will continue in violent roles on television, becoming the terrifying Negan in The Walking Dead for five full seasons.
