Walking Dead: a change in the series that only true fans have noticed

Many fans noticed this change in the series Walking Dead, on the occasion of the broadcast of the final season of the program.

After eleven seasons of good and loyal service, Walking Dead is about to turn the page definitively… Or at least to pass the baton to its announced spin-offs, such as the one devoted to Daryl (whose filming is currently in full swing in France ) or even Dead City, the series which will feature Negan and Maggie. This without forgetting to mention the mini-series with Rick Grimes and Michone (announced as a replacement for the film previously planned).

But with just a handful of episodes left before the series comes to an end, several netizens have noticed a slight change in the program’s opening credits. Slightly longer than usual, the latter required a musical rearrangement of its main theme, thus lengthened by a few notes by its composer Bear McCreary.

Another notable change concerns the appearance of the title in this new credits. Whereas previously The Walking Dead inscription appeared dirtier and dirtier as the seasons progressed, to symbolize a state of undead-like decay, the title now appears cleaner, but still smeared with blood. (see below): a reference most certainly to the falsely utopian society designed by the Commonwealth authorities, the current villains of the series!
