The series will officially be titled The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live and will be released in 2024. The trailer, meanwhile, shows Michonne walking through a red cloud, recounting how she lost someone “years ago” and was alone for a long time before discovering that person was still alive…

This series features an epic love story of two characters changed by a changed world.”, reads in the synopsis. “Separated by distance. By unstoppable power. By the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead… And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find themselves and rediscover who they were in a place and a situation that they have never known before?“That is promising.

The six-episode limited series is written and produced by Scott M. Gimple, who also serves as its showrunner. Danai Gurira is credited as co-creator and co-writer.

Meanwhile, Daryl is continuing his journey… in France! The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon focuses, as its title suggests, on the beloved character played by Norman Reedus. The series will be released on September 10, but good news: it has already been renewed for a second season.

In it, Daryl, stranded in France, struggles to understand how and why he got there. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home.
