Episode 16 of “Walking Dead”, which concluded the second part of the program’s final season, was marked by the advent of a character, already considered by many fans to be the greatest Horror series villain.

Please note, the following details the plot of episode 16 of the final season of The Walking Dead. If you haven’t seen it yet, and don’t want to know anything about its content, then you are strongly recommended to stop reading this article now.

Over the seasons, Walking Dead has offered us several memorable villains, whether it’s the Governor, Negan (before he repents) or even Alpha, the terrifying leader of the Whisperers (who the we will see again soon on the occasion of an episode of the anthological series Tales of the Walking Dead).

The final season of the horror series is not to be outdone. On the occasion of the introduction of the Commonwealth, viewers were thus able to meet Vice-Governor Lance Hornsby, a cold and calculating being, whose personal interests come before those of the greatest number.

Engaged in a war against Maggie, who refused to join the ranks of the Commonwealth, the latter decided to use all means – especially the most expeditious – to place the inhabitants of Alexandria under his authority.

At the head of his own militia, Hornsby also did not hesitate to join forces with the mercenary Leah to fight Maggie’s troops. And that’s good, since the latter had an account to settle with the leader of Alexandria, directly responsible for the massacre of the Reapers of which she had taken the lead following the death of Pope. The clash at the top of the two characters didn’t disappoint, but it was ultimately Daryl – Leah’s former lover – who took the latter down with a bullet to the head.

This “victory” will however have left a bitter taste in the mouths of our heroes, since the triumphant march of Lance Hornsby allowed him to annex the city of Alexandria for good, reducing its inhabitants to the state of prisoners of war. , and even engaged in summary executions.

The vice-governor seems to have reached a new height of cruelty, to the point of being now considered by a certain number of fans of the series as the best villain of the program, all seasons combined!
