(Boursier.com) — Extreme variations were observed at the opening on Wall Street today on several dozen values, with differences of 20 to 30% sometimes! These are not small caps, since such crazy variations have been observed on stocks such as McDonald’s, Uber, MasterCard, Morgan Stanley, walmart, Palantize, Shopify, Wells Fargo (…). Tuesday’s extreme trades took place in securities listed on the NYSE and were visible on virtually all trading platforms, including those overseen by CBOE Global Markets and private sites under the Finra trade reporting system, says Bloomberg. Major company stocks include Walmart and McDonald’s, which saw double-digit declines before being suspended. These securities now quote normally and the anomaly, which would be technical, seems resolved.
