Wall Street ends a bad week in scattered order

The New York Stock Exchange ended in mixed order on Friday, with the Nasdaq and the S&P 500 index concluding a bad week, the worst since the start of the year.

The Dow Jones index climbed 0.55% and the S&P 500 0.22%, while the technology-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.61%, according to preliminary results at the close.
