Wall Street: Rising, on the edge, despite rates

(CercleFinance.com) – 48 hours before the end of the first half, Wall Street seems to be lacking inspiration and fuel.

The day ended just a little better than it began, but the gains were not convincing.

The Dow Jones index gained 0.05% to 39,127, the S&P 500 +0.15% to 5,478 and the Nasdaq managed to gain +0.5% to 17,805.

Over the first half, the S&P-500 jumped +15%, the Nasdaq almost +18%.
Its rise today owes a lot to Mongo Db +6.7%, Tesla +4.8%, Amazon +3.9%, Dexcom +2.9%, Apple +2%.
But the scores are quite divided given the declines of Paychex -6.1%, Qualcomm -2.4%, Zscaler -2%, AMD -1.7%.
The ‘S&P’ mainly benefited from the surge in Fedex +15.5%, UPS +2.8%
