US actor and “Twin Peaks” star Walter Olkewicz died at the age of 72. This was confirmed by his son.

American character actor Walter Olkewicz is dead. He died loudly a report from the “Variety” page at the age of 72 after struggling with health problems for around 20 years. Olkewicz’s death was confirmed by his son, screenwriter Zak Olkewicz.

Olkewicz was known, among other things, for his impersonation of the character Jacques in David Lynch’s (75) cult series “Twin Peaks”, which was wrongly arrested in the first season for the murder of Laura Palmer. He returned for “Twin Peaks – The Movie” and in the 2017 revival of the Mystery series. He also played a leading role in the sitcom “Grace” for four seasons and played a mafia lawyer in Joel Schumacher’s (1939-2020) thriller “The Client”.
