Disney + shows the new Marvel series "WandaVision" from mid-January. Many fans were still hoping for a December start.
Fans were hoping for December, but now it's official: The new series from Marvel Studios, "WandaVision", will be released on January 15, 2021 on the Disney + streaming service. The TV show revolves around the two characters Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen (31, "Wind River"), and Vision, played by Paul Bettany (49, "A Beautiful Mind").
"WandaVision" is supposed to combine the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it says in advance about the new series. Wanda Maximoff and Vision – two super-powered beings who lead an idyllic suburban life – suspect that not everything is what it seems … After "WandaVision" has been postponed to 2021, there will be no new release from Marvel Studios in 2020 – the first time since 2009. Most recently, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the start date of the blockbuster "Black Widow" was postponed to the coming spring.
