In the documentary series Squeezie: Thanks Internet, Lucas Hauchard looks back on his youth, his career, and how he got to where he is today. You don’t know who it is? So maybe this documentary Prime Video is for you.

It is in particular thanks to the work of his best friend Théodore on his videos that Squeezie is today the most famous videographer in France. But it is also thanks to his eye and his camera which have regularly followed the YouTuber over the last ten years, that the documentary series Squeezie: Thanks Internet is today a reality.

A documentary that returns to where it all began

Made up of five episodes of around forty minutes, the series focuses on Lucas Hauchard, aka Squeezie. Now aged 27, he is the leading videographer in France with more than 18 million subscribers on YouTube. A man of many records, the teaser of the documentary dedicated to him also sent the counters into panic…

The documentary travels back to his beginnings in his teenage bedroom, ending with the GP Explorer and his own e-sports team. From leaving his parents’ house, to his ups and downs ascent on the Internet, to more personal moments with friends, the series covers many stages of Squeezie’s life. The objective of this intimate portrait is in particular to try to explain how he became the icon of a generation.

Prime Video accumulates successful documentaries

There is no doubt that the success of this documentary is likely to be there. For the record, previously it was in particular the one on the artist Orelsan who was in the heyday of Prime Video, fond of this kind of format.

If you are really fond of documentaries and want more, in a totally different register, Netflix has just launched its drama series Griselda about the famous drug lord…

Amazon Prime Video

  • A catalog that is enriched month after month
  • An SVOD platform and many other services
  • A fairly complete back catalog

Good but could do better. This is clearly the first impression that Amazon Prime Video left on us. Its catalog remains neat, Amazon’s in-house productions are often of high quality, but everything remains weighed down by an interface that can largely be improved.
