Officialized last December, the folding smartphone Find N2 Flip from OPPO is preparing its arrival in Europe.
The smartphone could be formalized on the Old Continent at the next Mobile World Congress.
OPPO will bend over backwards in Europe
For a few years now, the folding smartphone has been democratized, the market being driven in particular by Samsung. In addition to its Z Fold and its smartphone/tablet hybrid side, the Korean brand also offers the Galaxy Z Flip, with a rather attractive clamshell format.
Last December, the Chinese OPPO took advantage of its Inno Day 2022 event to formalize a new generation of folding smartphones. This was an opportunity for the firm to lift the veil on a “classic” folding model, but also on the new Find N2 Flip (Galaxy Z Flip style, therefore) which will soon be launched in Europe. The technical sheet of the smartphone was recently shared on the networks.
This new folding smartphone in March?
The OPPO Find N2 Flip will allow its owner to enjoy a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen in Full HD + quality and 120 Hz. On the front, the smartphone will benefit from a small 3.2-inch AMOLED screen (720 x 382 pixels). For comparison, Samsung’s Z Flip is content with a 1.9-inch external screen.
Powered by ColorOS 13, the smartphone signed OPPO will have a Dimensity 9000+ processor from Mediatek coupled with 8 or 16 GB of RAM, not to mention 256 GB of storage.
Of course, this new OPPO Find N2 Flip will be 5G compatible and will have a fingerprint sensor, not to mention 44 W SuperVOOC fast charging and a 4300 mAh battery. Finally, on the photo side, we will find here a main model of 50 megapixels (Sony IMX890) coupled with an 8 megapixel wide-angle module. At the front, it’s a 32-megapixel front camera that will be there.
In Europe, the OPPO Find N2 Flip smartphone is expected to come in two colors, namely Astral Black and Moonlit Purple. We are now awaiting confirmation from OPPO as well as the selling price of this future smartphone.
