Because two young people (18 and 20 years old) wanted to keep an alcoholic (52) from driving in Vöcklabruck, he chased them in his car. Driving license away and ad!
A 52-year-old from the Vöcklabruck district started his car in the Vöcklabruck district on Saturday at around 1 a.m. in a state of alcoholism. A 20-year-old and an 18-year-old driver, both from the Vöcklabruck district, spoke to him about this. The 20-year-old said he should notify the police and film him if he should drive away drunk. The 52-year-old then pursued the two of them, the pursuit ending in a dead end in Timelkam.
Jumped out of the car
The 52-year-old approached so fast that the 20-year-old jumped out of fear from the car and ran into the adjacent meadow. The 52-year-old followed him a little further with his car into the adjacent field. The fugitive was able to hide in a homestead and notified the police. When the police arrived, clear symptoms of alcohol impairment could be perceived in the 52-year-old. He refused an alcohol test and denied all allegations.
The 52-year-old’s driver’s license was taken away and he is reported to the Wels public prosecutor’s office.
