War in Ukraine: Russian army announces territorial gains, ensures civilians are spared

According to General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, who spoke on television, the rebels advanced three kilometers in the Donetsk region and one and a half kilometers in the Lugansk region.
