A stamp will be published by the Ukrainian Post in order to honor the Ukrainian coast guard stationed on Serpents’ Island in the Black Sea.
At the start of the Russian invasion, these coastguards stood up to a warship of Vladimir Putin, shouting “Russian ship, fuck you”.
The Ukrainian Post was inspired by the heroism of the Ukrainian guards to make a stamp. She invited Internet users to imagine an illustration that would fit best with their invective, which has become a slogan.
In the end, it was Boris Groh’s idea that won the most votes. This depicts a Ukrainian guard, on Serpents’ Island, facing a presumably Russian ship, holding a gun in his left hand and giving the middle finger with the other.

“It will be possible for you with this stamp to send letters and postcards, even abroad. And above all, you will send the message that you already know well: Russian ship, fuck you, ”commented the Post Office.
