Warner Bros. delays the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Last February, we discovered in more detail the gameplay of the next title from Rocksteady Studios. A rather poorly received presentation, and rightly so. Yet another soulless looter-shooter, four characters with erased personalities, and equipment galore with ever more ridiculous numbers. At least, thanks to that, Warner Bros. was able to seize the opportunity to push back the release date of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Still scheduled for 2023, the game is still postponed for a few months, without further details for the moment. Obviously, this will not make it possible to review the heart of the gameplay and therefore to satisfy the fans. But that will give Rocksteady teams a bit more time to finalize its game and release it in the best possible condition. Moreover, it also avoids finding itself in the middle of many other highly anticipated titles like Diablo IV, Final Fantasy XVI Or The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Finally, postponing the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a boon for Warners Bros. After the cannon start of Hogwarts Legacy, it is better for the company to avoid spoiling the atmosphere with a title that does not stand out. It remains only to hope for them that no other game comes to overshadow it in its new release window.
