There Resurgence is a popular game mode for gamers. Launched on Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera (formerly called “Call of Duty: Warzone”), the said mode is about to make a comeback on the new battle royale from Activision and Infinity Ward, Warzone 2.0. Besides, we know what is the first Resurgence card to come on the title. This is called Ashika Island. But when is it coming to warzone 2.0 ?
Ashika Island map release date on Warzone 2.0
The Resurgence map, Ashika Island, will be available when Season 2 arrives in Warzone 2.0. The launch date of this new and second season is set for February 15, 2023. Thus, after downloading the update related to said season, players can normally start a game of Resurgence and thus discover the different areas of the map Ashika Island.
As a reminder, the game mode Resurgence is intended to be quite similar to the classic battle royale. However, there is a big difference: dead players can come back into the game, after a countdown and if their teammate(s) is/are still alive. Not to mention the fact that it is possible to be revived at a refueling station. Furthermore, in Resurgence, the maps are smaller than those offered in the battle royale mode. In this regard, according to recent estimates, Ashika Island would be larger than Rebirth but smaller than Fortune’s Keep.

As with the other cards, Ashika Island is composed of various POI (“point of interest” in English), including “Tsuki Castle”, “Beach Club”, “Port Ashika”, and many others. All offer their own environment and different infrastructures. In addition, according to the information shared by Activision and Infinity Ward, we will be able to carry out fights in the undergrounds of “Tsuki Castle” and find secrets at “Beach Club”.
