A few weeks ago, rumors explained that Warzone 2.0, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, were going to welcome a special mode, with the aim of celebrating the Soccer World Cup, very inspired by Rocket League. On the occasion of the revelation of season 1 Reloaded, allowing the addition of new content, the developers formalized the arrival of this mode, named Warzone Cup.
Warzone Cup mode is coming to Warzone 2.0
To follow up on the football-related things already in place, such as the integration of the three Operators Lionel Messi, Neymar and Paul Pogba, but also the small Modern Warfare FC event, thanks to which you may have won some rewards in betting on the results of the World Cup, a temporary mode is going to be available.
This is simply called Warzone Cup and will see two teams of three players compete on the ground of Al Easima. Only, the latter will be on quads and will have to score goals, the first to score five winning the game. If none of the teams reaches this score within the limit of five minutes, the one who has scored the most will be the winner. These quads will be able to launch an impulse to give more force to the ball, while it will be possible to pick up objects to trap opponents.
You will understand from reading these few lines, this Warzone Cup mode is quite similar to Rocket Leaguewith the difference here that the experience will normally be a bit more explosive.
When is the Warzone Cup mode coming out?
Re Warzone Cup mode release date, know that you will be able to enjoy it from the launch of season 1 Reloaded, which will take place this Wednesday, December 14, at the end of the afternoon, as always. The mode should remain available until the end of Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
