Warzone 2: Expect very big changes!

Ah the city of Caldera… What a pleasure to play Call of Duty: Warzone since the introduction of the FPS Vanguard last December. But do not worry, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 helms Infinity Ward seems to want to take the next Battle Royale in a whole different direction.

Despite the lack of official information, and although we know that this one will not be linked to any other Call of Duty title, our inveterate leakers are here to enlighten us and give us some details about its content. We take stock with you of everything that should change.

Warzone 2 changes completely

Small clarification, all the information that will follow are only rumors for the moment, there is nothing official. However, they come from well-known Call of Duty leakers (or insiders), and they are very rarely wrong.

So, for starters, one of the biggest changes that Warzone 2 will bring is to the supply drop system. According to the videographer responding to the pseudonym of NerosCinema on YouTube, if Warzone first of the name allows you to get your hands on it via shopping stations, in Warzone 2 you will have to deserve it. According to the words of the videographer, players will indeed have to complete unique challenges to then unlock it.

According to him, the drops will indeed be locked behind what he calls fortresses, and the players will therefore have to achieve a very specific objective to unlock it: infiltration, defusing bombs or even killing AIs…

The Warzone 2 map is getting clearer

Regarding the framework of the new map of this next Battle Royale, everything is still quite vague. If we had some leaks which mentioned a map inspired by Colombia and more precisely by the city of Medellin, our YouTuber affirms that the next map is already validated.

According to him, it should contain several POIs (points of interest), and players should thus find, among other things, Favela, Afghan, Quarry, Terminal, Trailer Park and Highrise. However, not everything is clear yet…

New inventory

Finally, the inventory of the players should also undergo a major change. Unlike the first Warzone of the name, Warzone 2 should feature a backpack system, like in BO4’s Battle Royale with Blackout.

This way, players will be limited when it comes to their equipment but they will also have more freedom. Indeed, instead of having slots directly dedicated to certain types of equipment (grenades, killstreaks or even weapons), players will be able to accumulate several deadly equipment if they wish, or on the contrary favor killstreaks that they can loot on the ground.

This system promises a rather interesting and much more Battle Royale-oriented gameplay like Blackout mentioned above or the father of BR, PUBG.

Anyway, we’re going to have to be a little more patient before discovering more, but one thing is certain: this Battle Royale promises to be on the small onions.

It’s no secret that Call of Duty: Warzone is full of bugs and glitches, and when the developers release a patch to fix some of them, it inevitably adds new ones. Lately, it’s the return of one of them that is causing panic.
