Warzone 2: The new graphics engine is already worrying

JGOD has already given his thoughts on Warzone 2 after being asked to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 early.

Content creator JGOD was invited by Activision to test Modern Warfare 2 to acclimatize to the new graphics engine before anyone else. And while the Warzone stats expert was impressed, he still seemed worried about Warzone 2.0.

Players were finally able to discover the first details of the gameplay of Modern Warfare 2 with a nice trailer and lots of information including the return of Special Operations and a redesign of vehicles. And as we learn more and more about Modern Warfare 2, we also understand that Warzone 2.0 will run on the same graphics engine.

Warzone 2 will feature all new mechanics from Modern Warfare 2.

JGOD was one of the lucky ones who was able to test MW2 and its new graphics engine well in advance, which created some concerns over Warzone 2.

In his June 9 YouTube video, he discussed the Modern Warfare 2 experience, including how swimming will work, how the armory has changed, and even the new AI (Artificial Intelligence) system. All this therefore concerns both MW2 and Warzone 2, which will be well linked. It is therefore expected that the graphics engines of the two games will be exactly the same.

And despite the hype about the new Warzone map, he is afraid of the impact that the MW2 engine may have on Warzone 2: “They’re going to do something really realistic, and sometimes, like I said, it’s too much.”

For the moment we don’t know more but we are really looking forward to discovering more details on the Warzone sequel as well as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which looks very promising.
