Warzone: A call to the melee nerf is not unanimous

Warzone experts JGOD and TrueGameData have responded to calls for nerfs from the community regarding melee attack dashes by saying it’s not possible to fix something that doesn’t exist.

There are many Warzone analysts out there, but none more reliable than JGOD and TrueGameData.

These two usually set the pro weapon meta, find secret changes, and give tips to improve player gameplay. Today, however, they are “not on the side of the crowd”.

If you’ve spent any time on Warzone, you’ve definitely had your share of kills “unjust” in melee. Dash (instant melee movement) has been a big complaint since Warzone’s release. Countless calls for reduction in the ranged damage these weapons cover have been heard from players, but their demand cannot be met.

JGOD and TrueGameData Oppose Melee Attack Nerf in Warzone

In response to a Twitter post in which a player asked Raven Software to “nerf the melee dash”, JGOD mocked the victim claiming that this mechanic does not exist in Warzone.

JGOD categorized the video as desync. For people who don’t know, desync happens when the game doesn’t correctly save your location on the map. This may be due to internet connection or server issues.

However, when this happens, you will notice that you feel like you are very far away from the person who gives the impression of teleporting. But in reality, on their side, you are synchronized right in front of them and it seems completely normal.

This is a known issue with camera vantage points in Warzone, as JGOD explains, there are many instances of out-of-sync in the game. And these lead to some particularly frustrating combat. This is why a lot of players get hit when they shouldn’t be on their screen.

In Warzone, players regularly complain about melee attacks.

TGD, another Warzone expert, chimed in and supported JGOD saying, “I’m glad someone understands”. He sees people complaining about this “bug” every day, but in reality it’s a desync problem that can’t be fixed with an update.

Overall, both players agree that the game has some serious desync issues, but the melee attack works as intended.
