Warzone: An easter egg turns into a disaster

An easter egg on Good Fortune allows Warzone players to have a little fun between two skirmishes, but when a bug recently caused it to go wrong, they can only take their legs around their necks.

Among the multitude of new content introduced to Warzone with the launch of Season 4, the new map, Good Fortune, is probably the most interesting.

Smaller than Caldera, this sunny map was designed to offer the same style of play as on Rebirth Island, which did not displease players.

Activision

Good Fortune debuted on Warzone with the launch of Season 4.

Although the card is not intended for zombie lovers, it does come with an easter egg that can spawn an undead. However, it now comes with a bizarre game-changing bug.

And there it goes wrong for Warzone players

The Good Fortune easter egg works quite simply. To activate it, just go to the cemetery, light 3 candles located around the POI. After that, players must line up and pay their respects at a small tombstone. After which, a zombie will appear.

However, recently, this easter egg has gone wrong. A player shared his misadventure on Reddit, while he and his teammates scrupulously respected the different stages, instead of seeing a single zombie emerge from the grave, they were treated to a horde of around thirty living dead.

The author of the publication indicated that this situation was repeated in the following parts, but for the moment it is still unknown what causes this astonishing bug. A day like any other on Warzone!

While many players took this opportunity to criticize the work of the developers, others on the contrary suggested that they should let this bug do its work in order to make things worse on Bonne Fortune. For once a bug is funnier than anything else…

Nevertheless, as this bug tends to be accompanied by freezes, there is a good chance that the developers will deploy a fix in the coming days.
