Warzone bug produces incendiary sight

A strange Warzone bug involving a canister sets players’ sights on fire, giving them an “incendiary” sight.

Although Raven Software has made adjustments to improve the gaming experience. In Warzone Pacific bugs are still very common and are still a major problem for players.

While the majority of these bugs can completely ruin players’ matches, there are a few that can sometimes be considered positive or just fun.

One of them is the “incendiary” optics bug. This one, recently discovered, replaces the player’s iron sight with a flame.

The gas can is very handy in Warzone.

Warzone bug gives players blazing crosshairs

While playing a standard Warzone match on Caldera, the player u/davedavewowdave tried to light a canister while coming under fire from an opponent.

This encounter earned him being sent to the Gulag. Fortunately for him, he managed to win his duel allowing him to return to Caldera.

However, after picking up a new weapon shortly after landing, he soon realized that his sight was covered in flame. It was indeed the same animation as the one shown when lighting a can.

While the glitch made aiming nearly impossible, there’s no denying that the flame effect is original on the weapon.

After posting the clip to Reddit, users were quick to dub the bug the “incendiary” optics. Some even expressed on the fact that Activision could make a weapon plan of it.

It would be extremely difficult to reproduce this bug. Indeed, it happens randomly when a player gets sent to the Gulag while lighting a canister.

Therefore, the developers are unlikely to make this issue a priority. Especially since much bigger issues are currently affecting the game.
