Raven Software, developers of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, finally fixed hilt attachments with Vanguard weapons that were giving a speed boost.
When Warzone Pacific Season 4 was finally released live by Raven Software, Call of Duty battle royale fans quickly landed on the game to check out the new Fortune’s Keep map. But despite the enthusiasm of players about this new map, players have found surprises with certain accessories on Call of Duty: Vanguard weapons.
It was surely the Tape handle which significantly boosted the movement speed of players who equipped it.
And since players with excellent movement skills could take advantage of this issue, it didn’t take long for some players to request changes from the developers. And even though it may have taken them a minute, they changed that “mistake” with the props.
Tucky Ackland, a member of the Raven Software development team, communicated about these changes.
The primary goal of the attachment tuning was to enable choice when building a load out. “Some” increased mobility on Taped is still a valuable pick when going for your “gotta go fast” builds.

“Handle Tape now works ‘as intended’. I know this may be disappointing to some, but I take responsibility for this error. Creating a healthy skills gap is a goal, but it was pretty crazy.
The primary purpose of this prop upgrade was to allow choice when building a class. “A little” mobility boost on the Tape Grip is always helpful if you want to create a custom class quickly.”
You can now try to use this accessory again, but don’t be disappointed that it is no longer as effective as before in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific!
