Warzone floor loot would be much more powerful

Warzone players are now confident that grounded weapons do more damage and have less recoil than custom class ones.

In most cases, ground weapons in Warzone only exist to tide players over until they can get their hands on their Classes.

However, it seems that they are too powerful in Warzone Season 3. Indeed players are convinced that they have advantages over custom classes.

Floor loot in Warzone more powerful than class weapons?

Reddit user bobz99by created a spreadsheet of all field weapons and their attachments pulled from the data, prompting u/san0andreas to compare field loot with the same custom class.

In the video, the orange PPSH-41 appears to have less recoil than the custom class version. Also it would seem that the PPSH-41 on the ground is not the only weapon to have an advantage over the class version, either.

“Earth loot is 100% better in many ways and people have been saying that for a while”explains a player. “It feels like the MP40 on the ground is so much louder”said one user. “The Welgun too”replied another.

But there could be a simple reason why these ground weapons are stronger than their class counterparts.

“I believe some of the higher tier pre-planned ground drops like orange are unaffected by some of the newer nerfs this season,” suggested weezin_ed.

This was an issue when integrating Cold War into Warzone, where a MAC-10 weapon blueprint was unaffected by general weapon nerfs.
