The Warzone community is starting to get frustrated with this error which only disconnects players from the server but our guide should help you fix this redundant error.

Warzone’s June 2 update brought a few changes to Call of Duty Battle Royale Reloaded Season 3, including the addition of a brand new temporary game mode called “Champions of Caldera”. But this game mode suffers from technical issues when players try to jump into it, encountering a weird server error.

Server errors have become quite common on Call of Duty in general.

How to Fix Warzone “Server Disconnected” Error

If you try to launch a game of Caldera’s new Champions mode on Warzone, you will likely encounter an error message telling you that you have been disconnected from the game servers.

The developers, Raven Software, are already aware of this issue and have responded to it by decreasing the number of players per game from 150 to 120.

“Due to reports of server instability, we are lowering the maximum player count in Warzone’s new mode, Champions of Caldera, to 120 players.”

And if you still encounter this bug, there are various methods to avoid it.

  • Restart Warzone: radical but often effective solution
  • Relaunch your internet box: a solution not to be overlooked

If these solutions are ineffective and you are playing Warzone on PC, you will need to check your Windows Firewall settings.

  1. Open menu
  2. Search “Windows Security”
  3. Select “Firewall and Network Protection”
  4. Click on Advanced settings
  5. Go to “Outgoing Traffic Rules”
  6. Search “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” in the list
  7. Select “Properties” in the right column
  8. Click on “Enable rule”

Now the problem should be fixed. Have fun in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific!
