Many Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players have experienced freezes when landing on Rebirth Island or Caldera, but some have already found a potential fix.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 was hit with a freeze glitch especially in its early stages, where players were stuck in one spot unable to move for several seconds after landing or passing a buy station. The devs are working on a fix but some players believe they have found a temporary fix to reduce the number of freezes you may experience.
While Season 2’s changes and new features were pretty well received by the community, this freeze glitch ruined the experience for many fans. By being forced to stand still for several seconds upon landing, many players would end up in the Gulag once their screen resumed.
Players want the final killcam to be added in Warzone.
Raven Software has confirmed that they are working on a fix for this particular issue, but players have reported that there is a temporary fix to prevent your screen from freezing, whether on Caldera or Rebirth Island.

On Reddit, a player explains that you have to avoid the “Replay” button at the end of your game. It is therefore preferable to return to the main menu after each of your games to restart afterwards. Some find that this doesn’t work and they keep seeing their screen freeze, but you can still try to reduce your freezes.
