Warzone how to speed up your responsiveness

When it comes to video games, input lag can be one of the most frustrating things to deal with. In Warzone, it can be the difference between life and death. However TrueGameData has revealed the best way to ensure you have the best game possible.

Input lag is the time it takes for the button or key that was pressed to perform the action in the game you are playing. For example, in Warzone you can press the fire button, but it can take up to a few milliseconds for the game to register that you have actually pressed the button.

This means you need to have the best settings to make sure everything is as immediate as possible. Luckily, TrueGameData has broken down some key parameters to make sure that number is close to zero.

The best settings to eliminate input lag in Warzone

In a YouTube video, TGD explains how frustrating it can be to experience input lag in a game, but there are ways to avoid it.

The first thing to note is that if you’re playing on PC, you’ll have the lowest response time using a mouse as your aiming source. The response time is 0.5 milliseconds, while the PlayStation controller’s is two milliseconds and the Xbox One’s is four milliseconds.

If you go for a controller, make sure it goes through a wired connection, as it accounts for almost 10% of the input lag. While this is the most important thing to note, FPS should be your next priority.

The higher your IPS, the lower your input lag will be. TGD said your response time is calculated based on the number one divided by your FPS, which means the higher the better.

It adds other elements, but these are by far the most important. So if you’re looking to minimize your input lag, you can check out our optimization guide here.
