Warzone: March 28 Update Note Patch, adjustments to several perks

On March 28, Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific welcomed its second Mid-Season 2 Reloaded update.

If the Battle Royale has since welcomed several novelties since March 23, the latter mainly affecting Rebirth Island with the Rebirth Reinforced event but also all the new elements like legendary weapons, magnetic cards and the discovery of new bunkers, the developers have focused this time on the different assets that we can find in the city of Caldera or on the island of the Renaissance, in view of the third season which is gradually emerging.

Warzone Update March 28 Patch Note

We view this chapter of Warzone as an ever-evolving game space, where we want counterplay and system interaction to be viable. We want to provide players with a variety of tools to create even more interesting stories or “big-headed” games that take advantage of systems in ways that we developers never thought possible.

Assets are going to be an important part of moving towards this goal. The changes seen today represent a preview of what’s to come in the third season.

  • Looter: The satchel will now have a cyan outline for those with the Raider gear
Dispel time increased from 20 to 60 seconds.
Satchel now gives +1 armor plate in addition to previous items.
    Text update.

Pillard was originally designed for a multiplayer encounter where your kills are usually easy to hit and foot traffic lines up on kill zones. In a battle royale setting, players have a lot more space to cover and a lot more time passes between encounters. With this change, we want to help you identify where your spoils of war are while giving you more time to acquire them. Updating items may seem minimal, but a more aggressive player can get better results by staying well equipped.

  • Express delivery : Cooldown reduced from 50 seconds to 25 seconds.
The Stim is now on a 60 second timer to reduce spam and gas abuse.
Incorrect in-game text “50s” will be updated in a future update.

Restocking has seen an increase over time with the original launch of Battle Royale. As Warzone has evolved, it has become apparent that its strength has diminished. We want there to be stronger choices in the red category of trumps that have a big impact on playstyle around the respective trump, and there’s an opportunity with this revamp to create space to experiment with various gear that doesn’t get as much love.

  • Minesweeper: Minesweeper will reduce the damage or cap it, whichever is higher.
Increased explosive damage cap from 80 to 200.
Increased damage reduction from 35% to 45%.
    Text update.

With the adjustment to lethals doing more damage in Season 1, we wanted to align Minesweeper with these changes so that there was a viable counter in the Asset meta.

  • Fast regeneration: Inserting armor plate now starts regenerating health.
    Text update.

Rapid Regeneration was already a decent meta contender, but like the other perks, it was primarily designed for multiplayer. This change makes its effect more powerful in a Battle Royale context and we hope it will lead to some truly compelling games.

  • Phantom : The “Ghost” stealth effect now only applies if the player is moving.
Players can see this by the arrow representing their operator in the minimap which fades when “Ghost” is active.
A text update will be made in the future to clarify these changes.

In a pre-Caldera world, Ghost has always been very beneficial. However, in Caldera, it’s evident that it’s gotten even stronger with the ability to seek visual cover in foliage across the map. With this change, we want to balance trump around mobility or immobility, to provide more counterplay opportunities around Ghost. We’re taking an in-depth look at the stealth and detection meta with the intention of building more value into the options available to acquire and combat it.

  • We’ve also updated the tooltip text for the following perks:
    – Battle Hardened
    – Chain of eliminations
    – Serial killer
    – Determination

A new weapon has just joined the Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, but not only. The Armaguerra 43 submachine gun has also joined Call of Duty Vanguard, and we are going to tell you how to get this small weapon.
